
Kathryn graduated from Ulster University with a joint honours degree in Law and Economics and went on to complete a Master of Law in Human Rights and Criminal Justice at Queens University Belfast. She then graduated with Distinction from the Graduate School of Professional Legal Studies in 2011.
Kathryn specialises predominantly in matrimonial and family law dealing regularly with contentious, complex and high value cases. Kathryn is also experienced in dealing with estate planning including wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, as well as controllerships and administration of estates. Kathryn is an accredited member of the Children Order Panel of Northern Ireland and a qualified Solicitor Advocate. Kathryn is the contributing editor of the Child & Family Law Journal published by the Law Society of Northern Ireland and regularly writes articles on topical issues pertaining to the area of family law. Kathryn also works alongside various organisations such as the British Deaf Association providing legal advice and assistance to members of the Deaf Community and is Trustee of the Ulster Society for promoting the Education of the Deaf and Blind.
Kathryn is also Collaborative Lawyer and an accredited member of the Association of Collaborative Practitioners
